Copolymer Acrylic Paint & Type 316 Stainless Steel Coatings:

To our Valued Customers:

Since our founding in 1948, Burke Industrial Coatings has specialized in engineered coating systems such as copolymer acrylic paint, and metallic paint formulations primarily for original equipment manufacturers throughout the world. Often the request was for an unusual application, or to solve an as-yet unsolved problem. Most of our technology has been centered around water-based, ultra-high performance products utilizing 316L stainless steel flake, due to its unique performance properties. In fact, we invented Superlife 316® Liquid Stainless Steel (U.S. Pat. No. 4,444,937). We have extensive documentation of service life up to 31 years in severe environments–most notably for the Bonneville Power Administration and the Army Corps of Engineers in the Northwestern United States. No doubt this is why many of our satisfied customers describe Superlife 316® as "ageless".

Burke Industrial Coatings continues to develop metallic paint formulations and coating systems like copolymer acrylic paint that provide our customers with environmentally safe and friendly systems that work in the most extreme corrosive and wash down applications in and on every conceivable type of equipment and facilities. Over the past few years the food processing industry has dealt with Ecoli and other bacterial problems that have resulted in widespread food recalls across the United States. Coating food processing equipment parts is vital to reduce bacterial presence in the processing arena. The food industry has reacted by increasing the CIP standards that were used for years. These tougher standards have increased washdown frequency, increased chemical content, and produced greater wash nozzle pressure, higher wash temperatures and stronger sanitizing agents. With the introduction of the standard rolled out under NSF/ANSI/3-A/14159-1-2002, it is very evident that old systems just do not work. It is with great pleasure and pride that we introduce our new series of Alloy Bond 316L Stainless Steel filled CE Epoxy topcoat systems. These systems have proven themselves over time tested extreme conditions. For additional information please feel to call our toll free telephone number noted or visit our web site.
